Hello!

My name is Monique Go and I am a brand new full-time solo traveler.

I have been an explorer and student of the world as early as I can remember, so I was itching for a change of pace from my previous corporate 9-5 job. I decided it was time for me to take a risk and go as far as my two feet can take me.

On July 8th, 2021 I took a leap of faith and quit my job. With $10,000 saved up, I packed my bags and began my journey of world exploration.

Solo traveling for the first time was extremely scary so I decided the best way to ease myself in was to do a work exchange program. After much debate, the big winner for my first stop became Hawaii. I spent 3 months traveling around the magical pacific islands and had the time of my life!

I couldn’t keep these memories to myself and decided I needed to start a blog to write down all my adventures and provide others with tips and guides on places I have explored and will explore.
